Recycled Realities brings together layered works born from discarded objects, my own old materials, chance, and the flow of music. The foundations of the pieces are built from cardboard, fabric, paper, and plaster – materials that have already lived their lives, now given a new form. In some works, I’ve turned the frames inside out to make them more multidimensional.

The pieces are abstract landscapes and fragments of thought, layered with visual material and snippets of text drawn from the films and songs I watch and listen to while working. In some works, plaster sculptures blend into painted surfaces – a play between physicality and chance, weight and lightness.

Recycling isn’t just a theme – it’s a way of working. I’m not claiming to save the world, but I like to think that every piece can have new meaning. Recycled Realities is an attempt to see the familiar in a new light – to rebuild, to find beauty in what’s been left behind.
