Mikko Heino is a Finnish visual artist living and working in Berlin. With a background in graphic design and inspired by comics, cartoons, skateboarding and popular culture, his bold and simplified work explores cartoony spaces and objects with an adult mindset.

Unwanted Cowboy is a collection of acrylic paintings depicting desert landscapes and objects with a comic-like appearance. However, something seems to be missing, and yet, a presence of that thing or someone is there. Framed on canvas, the paintings stand as stages for empty scenes that leave you curious.
